About the artist

Katie Fishlock is an artist, coach and podcaster who grew up on the outskirts of Bristol and later moved back closer to the city; she has said that much of her work is to do with mental wellbeing, societies, communities and human interaction (The Bristol Magazine). Her exhibitions include Live Laugh Love Burnout at Dareshack and Treat Yourself at Glitch Studios in Old Market, and her murals have addressed burnout, autism and dyslexia, among them No Small Talk at the Tobacco Factory; she is a member of the Bristol Mural Collective (The Bristol Magazine).

She began her career in fashion, apprenticing with Alexander McQueen and Paul Smith, and took part in VIVID, a summer group show at the People's Republic of Stokes Croft in Bristol (PRSC). The Joseph Clark Collection holds The Kiss, a silkscreen print by her (Joseph Clark Collection).
